Questions we get asked.
The ones that come up on nearly every call, answered plainly. If yours is not here, ask us directly.
What happens to our data during migration?
Both systems run at the same time until the new one is doing the work. We move a copy, check it against the original, and only then start switching people over. Nothing gets turned off on a date we picked in advance.
Are we locked into you?
No. You hold the repository, the infrastructure accounts, and the domain. If you hire another developer they can read the code and keep going, which is the opposite of what happens when you leave a SaaS vendor.
What if ServiceAi disappears?
Your system keeps running, because it runs on your accounts rather than ours. The documentation and the handover package exist from the first build for exactly this reason.
How long does it take?
Working software as early as week two. A first system is usually two to four weeks and most clients are working in it inside a month. A full operating system is eight to sixteen weeks, depending on how many departments it covers and how much data has to move.
What does it cost?
A fixed price for the build, quoted after the audit, and a monthly licence charged per location — never per person, with unlimited users. Hosting, monitoring, backups and support are included in it, and the whole figure is smaller than the subscriptions it retires. We do not quote before seeing your invoices.
Who maintains it afterwards?
We do — it is included in the licence. After the initial term you can buy out to a perpetual licence and maintain it yourself or hand it to a third party, using the documentation we provide.
Ask the awkward one.
The questions above are the ones we hear most, and none of the answers change depending on who is asking. If something here matters to your decision, put it to us on a call and we will answer it the same way.
